10 pm. The 4th of July is special time for everyone in this great country, and we all have different ways of celebrating. The Thunder In The Valley fireworks spectacular will be held on the 4th of July 2010, on the Hocking College Campus, located in Nelsonville, Ohio. Thunder In The Valley is the topping event of the Athens County 4th of July celebration. The show is choreographed to music and is set against the backdrop of the Hocking Hills.
